TiTaMED Spinal System's Sample of Tools

This tool is designed for both posterior and anterior use. The Approximator attaches onto the screw via a slot so that the screw head is lined up with it. Once the screwhead and rod are correctly positioned, the cap is inserted through the Approximator shaft, where it can easily be screwed on without the risk of cross threading.

For easy insertion of the required Poly Axial screw. The screw is engaged by the hex, and screwed onto the shroud. The shroud is exactly the same diameter as the screw head, this stops muscle damage as the screw is screwed into the pedicle hole.

The Hex in the Poly axial screw engages with the shaft of the tool, and then the nut is tightened. The Black handle gets turned to screw the screw in, and when releasing the tool from the screw, the black handle is kept still, and the nut is unscrewed.

The Insert Tool is strong and is designed for simplicity and ease of use in inserting a screw. It is easily dismantled for cleaning.

The shroud is exactly the same diameter as the screw head, this stops any muscle damage as the screw is screwed into the pedicle hole. The inside profile of the screw head matches the profile of the core pin exactly. These two designs are patented.
