Polyaxial Pedicle Screws

The shank has 360 degree articulation until the screw head is locked, then the screw becomes rigid.

Ideally used for multi-level fusions where the heads of the screws may accomodate less rod bending.

For use in fracture constructs, tumours, tuberculosis, spondylolisthesis or surgeon’s preference.

Uniaxial Mobile Pedicle Screws

The screw shank articulates in one plane only. After the screw head is locked the screw shank still remains mobile. However in a construct, the Uniaxial Mobile Screw becomes rigid.

Ideally suited for correction of deformities such as scoliosis, both posterior and anterior. Additionally for use in single or multilevel fixations in degenerative disc disease, fractures, tumors, tuberculosis or surgeon’s preference.

When Uniaxial Mobile Pedicle Screws are used in a construct, they offer superior loadsharing across the instrumented vertebrae.

Available in pointed or flat tips for anterior scoliosis.

Uniaxial Locking Pedicle Screws

The screw shank articulates in one plane only. After the screw head is locked the screw shank becomes rigid.

For use in stable single or multilevel fixations in degenerative disc disease, anterior or posterior correction of kyphosis, fractures, tumours, tuberculosis or surgeon’s preference.

Available in pointed or flat tips for anterior scoliosis.

Hooks

Cross Connectors

The Cross Connector is strong and versatile, and offers stability to the main construct by preventing translation and rotation. The Cross Connector is a construct in itself.

Sublaminar Wire

1mm Ø titanium monofilament sublaminar wire.

This annealed titanium wire has different characteristics to stainless steel wire making it is less suscpetable to breaking at the rod=knot interface.

Titanium Rods

Ti-TaMED offers a complete range of titanium rods in various sizes that might be needed during surgery.

Range of Lengths: 30mm - 400mm
Diameter: 5.5mm

Rod End Types:
• Round both ends - For general use.
• Round and hexagonal ends - For rod rotation.
• Round and flat ends - For posterior scoliosis.
