Research and Development

Our ISO 13485 and experience with the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC for class IIb implantable devices; allows us to design, prototype, test and manufacture implantable and non-implantable medical devices. Our design engineers can produce CAD drawings and prototypes; and mechanical testing on the devices can be conducted in-house.

Our experience in medical engineering and manufacture allows us to collaborate with surgeons to create new, or improve existing, technologies and techniques to grow the medical industry.

We currently have global R&D projects underway in the fields of scoliosis, spinal non-fusion technology, shoulder repair, fractures, regenerative medicine and optics.

Some of our projects include:

  • Scoliosis
  • Spinal non-fusion technology
  • Shoulder repair
  • Orthopaedic devices
  • Fracture repair
  • Regenerative Medicine
  • Dental devices
  • ENT devices & Ear grommets
  • Optical devices
  • Arthroscopic devices
